Gas Engineering Apprenticeship

As one of the UK’s leading training specialists, we provide a wide range of training and trade specific qualifications including the new Level 3 Gas Engineering Apprenticeship Standard (9074-03) being delivered at our Newton Abbot Centre. Gas Engineering involves the safe installation, commission, decomission and the ongoing service and repair of gas appliances in either a domestic or non-domestic setting. Appliances can include, but are not limited to, a range of work categories such as central heating boilers, unvented hot water storage, ducted air heaters, cookers, space heaters, meters, alternative fuel, boosters and testing and purging for industrial pipework.
The apprentice will take a minimum of 30 months to complete, but depending on sector and level, some can last up to 3 years. Throughout the apprenticeship, the apprentice is trained and guided towards a skilled role, gaining industry knowledge and the skills required to do the job in the sector.
