Training includes: Ventilation requirements for commercial appliances, Operation of forced draught burners, Commission, service, repair and breakdown of commercial appliance and pipework controls, Combustion analysis of commercial appliances.

2 Day practical & Theory examinations required for Commercial Catering Core Natural Gas

Changeover from Domestic to Commercial Catering Core (must hold CCN1)
COCATA1
Changeover from Domestic to Commercial Catering Appliances and includes COMCAT1 & COMCAT3 (must hold CCN1 plus a domestic appliance i.e CENWAT or CKR1)
COMCAT 1
Boiler burners, open /solid top ranges, hotplates & Bain Maries
COMCAT 3
Deep fat and pressure fryers, griddles & grills
COMCAT 5
Forced Draught burner & Conveyor type ovens
CMCLP1
Commercial Mobile Catering (must also hold LPG changeover)
Commercial Catering Package
CODC1 & COCATA1 – 3 day course
This package includes training and assessment on changeover domestic to catering core safety and catering appliances. Package includes COMCAT1 & COMCAT3.
CCN1 is a pre-requisite qualification for this course.
